Welcome to 15mins.today the home of English Shadowing I'm your host Gavin and this is InTense Episode 14. In this episode we will be looking at the future perfect tense. This is a tense that we use for the future, but we use it for something that we know will have finished at some point in the future, as in, “I will have spent all my money by tomorrow.” So, “I know that I would have spent all my money by tomorrow” is something that's going to happen, I have planned it and I know or have an idea of when it will finish. How do we know something is the future perfect tense? What we find is a “ will have” and the past participle of the verb. Great, so that is the future perfect tense. Let's get started with all questions.
Drill Questions:
Will Jane have sent the email by tomorrow? Yes. she will have sent the email by tomorrow.
Will Jane have sent the email by tomorrow? No. she will not have sent the email by tomorrow.
Will the conference have finished by lunch? Yes. the conference will have finished by lunch.

Will you have attended the meeting by 2? Yes, I will have attended the meeting by 2.
